First Gyaru Meet (Pics pics pics!)

So a few weeks back [more like two] I went to my first Gyaru meet up here in Houston. I was super excited  for it because we'd planned it about a month early and it was finally here! (。⌒∇⌒)。

Besides the make up [which we'll get to later] one of the most important things it seems to me is the clothes! I adore going to different gal blogs and seeing their coords and accessories and of course their make up and hair. You would think that with this in mind I would have chosen my outfit in advance, especially since I had a month to plan right? Wrooong! 〜(￣△￣〜) 

Like a true procrastinator I was up the night before for hours destroying my room as I tried to find the perfect outfit haha. I should have taken pictures of the chaos but of course it slipped my mind. Finally after a few hours and about a hundred photos later [no seriously I took that many only to use about 20 to show what my coords looked like ;A;] I had an outfit chosen out. 

I think this would just fall into your basic Gyaru Kei style as it wasn't anything particular like banba or rokku. I was inspired by some of the fresh looks in Popteen and other sites that I frequented and so this is what I decided on. 

 Price run down for the outfit.

It was my first time doing full on gal make up [i should have taken pics before i left the house when the make up was fresh (/ﾟДﾟ)/ ] I had on top and bottom lashes, circle lense, tried contouring etc. I still need alot of work on it but I liked the lashes ^_^ 

I think for a first time Gyaru attempt it wasn't too too horrible right? I was told to do a last accent to give them a more dolly like look and more blush and of course contour contour contoour! 

Onwaaard to out meet up! 
We met at a tea House I had never been to that was really nice! It has an upper area with a table and chairs which was where we hung out. To be honest it felt like the cool table in mean girls except not so mean haha 

I've been in this gal group on facebook for probably a year now but this was the first time I had actually been to a meet and they were so nice! We got there and the group was looking at magazines, talking, and whippeling which may just become my newest obsession [really, you gotta try it! Deco made easy I swear!]

I don't even know if I should call this the post of the day considering I dont post daily but, I'm working up to it [as well as outfits of the day but i've been home and babysitting lately soooo no fancy outfits have been worn lately OTL] ^o^

Anywho after my shopping haul last week I logged onto my paypal and saw I had a credit for almost $40 dollars from a mis transfer that they refunded me for. You can guess my excitement because I've been wanting to order some things from ebay so I was freaking excited!

With the credit I was able to buy a few items and decided I'd post them up here! I'm hoping they get here in time for my first Gyaru meet up next weekend 〴⋋_⋌〵 I'll be sad if they dont!! So here they are!

Mini Shopping Haul

Two post in one night! I feel like I should be proud of this (｡◕‿◕｡) 

So I've been bookmarking all these DIY's sites for tights and spare fabric like crazy lately! [let me know if you want some of the links!] One site showed a tutorial on hope you can paint designs on your tights which seemed pretty easy and really cute and I rushed out to buy tights! I ended up remembering that my Rue 21 has tights that were on sale so I headed there to get them for cheap  low prices.

Now I should tell you before you ask, a lot of my stuff [shopping hauls, clothes, shoes, etc] will come from this store (●⌒∇⌒●) I used to work there so I have a lot of stuff from there as well as I love there prices so you have been warned!

So I walk in to the store and head to the sale rack in the back and lo and behold tights were on sale for $2! I mean you cannot beat that price! And then my greedy little eyes wandered to the rack next to it and they have shoes for $5! Not just that but the cutest pair of white booties! I about died >3< I snatched those shoes, another pair of heels, and a pair of tights up so quick and ran for the door.

The guy [so cute but pitched for the other team I think ;A;] complimented me on my choices and starts scanning everything and looks at me all surprised and is like "your boots are $3 and the tights are $1" If I could tell you how fast I ran back to the rack and grabbed the black pair and more tights ＼(^ω^＼)

I ended up getting 3 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of tights for $17.32 I am quite pleased! And now onto pictures!

Hello there [If anyone is reading this haha]

Cal me Starlette, yes thats really my name!

I was really into blogging in like the 8th grade and just kinda forgot about it after a while, so now, here I am! I hope to include various things in my blog such as

I was inspired to start this after reading various Gyaru blogs and realizing I couldn't follow them because I didn't have a blog haha. I really hope to improve my Gyaru style and other asian styles such as Lolita, Ulzzang and more.

Maybe this will work longer than my journals ever do! I'll try to update this atleast weekly!
